...and horrible, horrible, weeks-long writer's block over a project for work that is preventing me from having a normal life. I'm not even sure if I spelled anniversary right or not.
Still, Charming Disarray is a year old. It seems longer, doesn't it?

Happy Blog-A-versary CD! Hope your Xmas/New Years festivities were great as well!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Same to you!
DeleteCongratulations on the anniversary. I may have found your blog only very recently but it has immediately become inspirational to me, as I admire anyone who's committed in following the Lord's true word, as opposed to self-serving revisionist interpretations, which are at least as often reactionary as they are liberal.
ReplyDeleteI hope your work project progresses well. Will you be able to share it with us, in due course?
Best wishes :-)
Mark
Thank you. One of the reasons I started blogging was to be able to interact with other people who are navigating the current social climate as adherent Catholics but also without a bunker mentality, so you're very welcome here! By the way, some of your comments are still stuck in moderation. I just haven't had a chance to get to them yet.
DeleteThe project's not terribly exciting, and it involves some new agey stuff (not my choice) so it wouldn't be appropriate here, ha ha ha.
Yeah I guess it does seem like longer, though I suspect that impression is more a function of non-blog/internet occurrences in one's life.
ReplyDeleteIn any case, congrats. I look forward to your new posts. Keep them coming.
Yeah, it's been an eventful year for me, too. And thanks.
DeleteYour last post about moms made me really sad. If I really believed guys were all objectifying their girlfriends' mothers like that I would quit dating completely and take my mom away to some desert island where she would be in no danger of being gawked at by creeps like that.
